I owned a Booq backpack for many years and it was starting to show its age so I purchased the Booq Squeeze but it was too small since it barely fit a small book when the laptop was inside. I then purchased the Booq Mamba Shift L. It was much roomier but the chest straps are very wide and stiff and were too uncomfortable. I adjusted the length of the straps but when I was able to feel comfortable with the straps, the backpack was sitting so low on my back that it started to bounce when I walked. It returned it for a refund. I like the Booq brand since it holds up well, and looks both stylish and professional but I can't recommend the new styles since there is no happy medium between size, space, and comfort.

I needed a professional looking backpack that could carry my laptop and various files to and from the office, but also be useful for business travel for long distances. The capacity and variety of storage options in the bag are really helpful for the typical commuter. I don't know what is my favorite feature - the zippered clutch bag, the key fob, or the storage room in the backback straps themselves for a phone or train pass. My 15" laptop fits perfecting in the separate padded section, and if I fold my gym clothes right I get all that in the main compartment with my stuff for work! Rugged enough for the train, but nice enough for carrying into the board room. The fit took some getting used to for my body type sice the straps are not wide set for the female user and can cut into the arms, but overall a great bag and I recommend it!

After my Targus backpack got ruined, I decided to purchase another backpack. I initially purchased 3 other bags, one from Booq, last month and had to return them due to inadequate space, laptop wouldn't fit, or was not stylish! But this backpack is perfect. Love it. Not only is it stylish but more important, it carries my IBM 17" work laptop that has an extended battery (bulges out in the middle), a notebook, all my chargers, pens, pencils, magazine, kindle, a cosmetics pouch, a cross body purse (with the carryon limitation , I've gotten rid of my large purse), and a small water bottle. I can also fit a shawl or sweater in the middle compartment.
I'm one happy camper. As an IT consultant, I've been traveling for over 12 years and backpack is the way to go. It was a bit pricey but so far so good !!
