Ok, did I get a lemon or is everyone else being paid to give 5 star reviews?!?! I was hoping this would be a stellar monitoring system for our new baby and toddler. I was specifically interested in 2 cameras and this system got such great reviews on Amazon that I thought I would shell out the money and go ahead and buy it because I couldn't lose! The video during the day was fine. The video at night was awful. I don't know about other parents but isn't the whole point of having a camera so that you can see what's going on at night so you don't have to go in the child's room if at all possible? We had a single camera Summer Infant Day and Night system that was great but this was no comparison at all. We have 2 nightlights in each room and you couldn't see a single thing. I had to strain to hear the audio in the toddler's room (and even though I'm an extremely light sleeper there's no way that would have woke me up through the night). We even had the camera hanging right next to the TV and you couldn't even hear the TV through the monitor. While the system was on we lost connection to the other camera, only to find that the camera had turned itself off somehow. I requested to return the product through Amazon, but since it actually came from Safe Baby I had to ship it back to them and pay my own return shipping so it additionally cost me $14.20 to return it which I absolutely hate. I HATE when I have to pay to return something that was obviously defective in the first place. I'm getting another Summer Infant system.

Like many parents we have been through a number of baby monitors, most of which fell far below our expectations. We came to the conclusion that we needed the digital technology and we need to monitor that could handle multiple cameras and had the auto scan function. We came across the Sentry by Safe Baby which seemed to fit the bill. We were especially encouraged by the reviews of both product and the company that sold the product. In the end, we decided to purchase the "Crystal View" because it had a larger screen and had the ability to both take still and motion pictures. It came with a TF card so we did not have to worry about purchasing this extra card.
Thus far, we are quite pleased. There is no static caused by our wi-fi computer network. And, there is no picture dressed so we do not see our neighbor's baby on our monitor and we are confident that our picture does not drift into our neighbor's house.
This is not the cheapest device on the market but, as they say, you get what you pay for. It is not significantly more expensive and given the larger screen and picture taking capability we feel it has been worth the extra expense.

I have to say that I am totally thrilled with my new baby monitor. The best part is the large screen! It says it is 3.2 inches, all I know is it is a larger screen than all of my friends' baby monitors. It reminds me of being on my cell phone or I-Pod. The picture is clear, the sound is great and best of all - the night vision is great! I had a question about operating the system, and I called Safe Baby and they were very helpful - and it was on the weekend! I don't know how you can go wrong with this system.
